Pure Emu Oil

March 20th, 2007

Emu Oil is listed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration as a medicine for relief of pain associated with arthritis.

Aboriginal people of Australia have used Emu oil for thousands of years as a traditional medicine. It has been well documented for its natural ability to penetrate the skin. Emu oil is often called a medicine chest in a bottle.

Emu Oil has been known to exhibit anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and epidermal healing properties. The oil has been successfully used for conditions such as:

 arthritis / arthritic joint pain  razor burn
 great skin moisturizer  ulcers
 aid in the relief of sunburn  wounds
 muscular aches  eczema
 joint pain  psoriasis
 aiding in the healing of injuries  bed sores
 burns  lowers cholesterol
 diabetes  heart disease
Emu oil can be used as a massage liniment for joint, muscle and tendon stiffness, soreness and pain.
Containing high levels of Oleic acid Emu oil has the ability to penetrate the stratum corneum barrier of the skin. Chiropractors and massage therapists use Emu oil for its highly penetrating ability to get into the muscles and relax them. There is much anecdotal material regarding its anti-ageing and wound healing abilities.
Australian Emu oil is well known in the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetic and medical fields. It is a great moisturizer, which adds to its protective ability and promotes anti-ageing of the skin. With almost no side effects emu oil penetrates straight into the skin as it is one of the greatest emollients which does not clog the pores.
Emu oil contains no petro-chemical oils or artificial preservatives, fragrances/colours. Shelf life of 2yrs, (from manufacture date) but can last up to 10 years. Keeping in mind Emu oil should not be exposed to UV light.
